Groups and Meetings

Come to one of our groups or meetings for fun, friendship and volunteer projects that support mental health and wellbeing. At New Hope there’s always something going on…

Hopespace Café

Each week, New Hope volunteers run a social café for who’re people feeling isolated, anxious or emotionally vulnerable. Here you’ll find a supportive, caring place to meet others who ‘know what it’s like’. Meetings are 6.00 - 8:30pm every Tuesday at The Bubble, St John's Hospital, BA1 1SQ and we’d love to see you there. Call Paul on 07522 945 518 for details.

New Hope monthly meeting

Every two months, New Hope opens its doors to people who want to talk about volunteer projects we’ve got on  or new ones they’d like to start. We’d love to see you there. Just ring the buzzer on the day at our office in the Vaults, Green Park, Bath or contact us to say you’re coming [link to ‘Contact us’].  We’ll put out extra biscuits.

New Hope Coffee and Chat

Whenever we can, we get together with local groups to serve up coffee and tasty treats for people affected by mental health issues in our community. Come along for a friendly place to chat and a chance to find out what fab groups there are locally that support people’s mental health and wellbeing.

New Hope exists thanks to St Mungo’s ‘Bridges to Wellbeing’ scheme, which provides funding and support for New Hope and its volunteers. ‘Bridges to Wellbeing’ aims to empower people affected by mental health issues, so they can get involved improving services they use.
